Plots 9&10, Cabot Park Avonmouth

Michael Sparks Associates acted as architects for two speculative industrial facilities on behalf of Astral Developments and ProLogis Developments between 2007 and 2008. The land was bought from the Burford Group who had gained outline planning consent for the Cabot Park development at Avonmouth. Situated on a 14.15 hectare site at the southern end of the Park, the unit on Plot 10 was a 51,500 sq m (555,000 sq ft) speculative distribution building which was completed in February 2008, whilst that on Plot 9 was a 10,968 sq m (118,000 sq ft) unit which was finished two months later. The overall contract value was £23 million. Plot 9 was subsequently let to the logistics company, Culina.
