Prologis Park, Heathrow
The 15.9 Hectare site located near Heathrow Airport and the M4 motorway was previously owned by the MOD and used for archive storage. Since being acquired by Prologis the site has been developed to a high standard, offering four industrial units and associated offices.
Phases 1 and 2 have been completed with a further two units, currently in planning, completing Phase 3. The combination of dramatic canopies and tapering columns offer architectural interest on entry to the buildings. Full height glazing, brick and terra cotta rain-screen have been used in the offices to add further architectural interest. The industrial components behind the offices are enlivened by a mix of differing shades of silver-coloured metal cladding arranged as modular panels topped with a white micro-rib parapet. A well considered blend of building massing, use of materials, together with high quality hard and soft landscaping has resulted in an attractive development.
